Today Jefé is joined by a legendary figure in the basketball world, Butch Beard! Butch was an All-American at The University of Louisville. He played ten seasons in the NBA, being named to one NBA all-star game in 1972 and winning an NBA Championship with The Golden State Warriors in 1975. After his playing career was over, Butch joined the Knicks coaching staff becoming one of the few black assistant coaches in the NBA. After a brief coaching stint, he joined the Knicks broadcast team, where he was one of the two major African-American broadcasters in American sports. He later went back to coaching, where he successfully took Morgan State University (HBCU) to the NCAA tournament.
